Q. What is the food like? Can we have a special menu or meal? A. Our food is healthy fare and is typically served buffet or family-style. There is always a
vegetarian option at each meal. We are happy to help design a custom menu to meet your specific
needs, be it to meet a dietary concern or a special party or event. We have accommodated several
vegetarian-only groups, groups that request a specific type of ethnic food, and groups that
wish to have a "fancy" menu for a party. We also love to do cookouts, campfires, and other
fun food experiences whenever possible.
Q. Will my group have exclusive use of the property or will there be
other groups sharing the property with us? A. Exclusivity depends of the size of your group, the nature of your group, and the date you
wish to come. If your group is large enough to fill most of the beds on the property then you
will have the property to yourselves. If you come on a date when there are no other groups scheduled
you may have sole use of the property... but in this case we do not guarantee exclusive use. Smaller
groups that require exclusivity can be accommodated but there may be an additional fee to guarantee such.
Q. What is involved if we want to do a ropes course or other organized activity? A. Arranging and executing activities is one of our specialities! All
waterfront and specialized
activities need to be pre-arranged before you arrive so that we can schedule the appropriate staff.
Just let us know what you want to do and when and we will take care of all the details. All waterfront
and supervised / staffed activities do involve an additional fee. Any land sports that you do on your
own are included in the cost of your stay.
Q. Is there bus parking? A. Yes, all properties have ample parking for buses.
Q. Can you arrange bus transportation for our group? A. Yes, bus transportation can be pre-arranged.
Q. Are bedding and towels included? A. No, we do not supply linens, pillows, blankets, or towels. Most groups choose to bring their own.
We recommend bringing a fitted sheet and a sleeping bag or blanket, at least one bath towel and one
swimming towel, and a pillow. Linen rentals can be pre-arranged, although we do not make the beds
or change linens. Linen rentals involve an additional fee.
Q. Are pets permitted? A. In certain cases pets may be permitted. Please contact us for details.
Q. Do you provide supervision for children? A. We have a great array of camp counselors at our disposal who can
be hired to supervise children (extra fee). Please make sure to pre-arrange this before you
come to ensure staff availability.
Q. Do you provide facilitators for team-building activities? A. Yes. All such activities must be prearranged and will be staffed
accordingly. See Features for Groups for more details on team-building.
