Situated on a beautiful wooded 35-acre property in Millstone Township in central New Jersey, Lakeside Retreats at Black Bear Lake Country Club is the ideal setting for all kinds of day events, including company picnics, corporate events and school picnics. An extensive waterfront on 5-acre Black Bear Lake, 3 large heated swimming pools, various regulation-sized courts and fields, and 5 covered open-air picnic pavilions are simply the backdrop to the myriad activities, entertainment options, amenities and food & beverage plans offered.

FROM PRINCETON/RT. 1:
Follow Rt. 571 East (Princeton-Hightstown Rd.) past Rt. 535 (Old Trenton Rd.). At next light, take the jughandle past the light to exit for Rt. 133 East to Freehold. Take Rt. 133 East for 3 miles to the end. At light make a left onto Rt. 33 East towards Freehold. Go approximately 4.5 miles and make a right onto Millstone Rd. (PNC Bank on corner). Go 4.6 miles on Millstone Rd. (school on your left). Make a right onto Clarksburg Rd. Go 1.25 miles to the stop sign. At the stop sign, turn left onto Stage Coach Rd. Go 1/4 mile, and Black Bear Lake entrance is the first driveway on the right past the firehouse. On the day of the event, parking is located behind the Clarksburg Inn. Signs will be posted.

FROM NORTH JERSEY/NYC:
A) Take NJ Turnpike South to Exit 8 for Freehold/Hightstown (Rt. 33). Follow Rt. 33 East for 5 miles. Make right onto Millstone Rd. (PNC Bank on corner). Go 4.6 miles on Millstone Rd. (school on your left). Make a right onto Clarksburg Rd. Go 1.25 miles to the stop sign. At the stop sign, turn left onto Stage Coach Rd. Go 1/4 mile, and Black Bear Lake entrance is the first driveway on the right past the firehouse. On the day of the event, parking is located behind the Clarksburg Inn. Signs will be posted.

ALTERNATE ROUTE IF TRAFFIC ON NJ TURNPIKE BETWEEN EXIT 8A AND EXIT 8:
B) Take Exit 8A for Cranbury/Jamesburg. Pay toll and bear left for Monroe/Jamesburg. Merge onto Rt. 32/Forsgate Dr. Make right at 2nd light onto Applegarth Rd. Go approximately 6 miles. Make a left at the light onto Rt. 33 East. Make a right at second light onto Millstone Rd. (PNC Bank on corner). Go 4.6 miles on Millstone Rd. (school on your left). Make a right onto Clarksburg Rd. Go 1.25 miles to the stop sign. At the stop sign, turn left onto Stage Coach Rd. Go 1/4 mile, and Black Bear Lake entrance is the first driveway on the right past the firehouse. On the day of the event, parking is located behind the Clarksburg Inn. Signs will be posted.

FROM SOUTH JERSEY/PHILADELPHIA:
Take NJ Turnpike North to Exit 7A, Rt. 195 East. Take Rt. 195 East to Exit 11 for Imlaystown. At end of exit ramp, turn left. Cross over Rt. 195 and at stop sign turn right onto Rt. 524 going East. Travel approximately 4.5 miles on Rt. 524 East. Black Bear Lake entrance is the first driveway on the right past the firehouse. On the day of the event, parking is located behind the Clarksburg Inn. Signs will be posted.

FROM FREEHOLD AREA:
Take Rt. 537 West (West Main Street off of Rt. 9) past the Freehold Raceway Mall and continue past Centrastate Hospital. Continue on Rt. 537 for a few more miles (pass Johnny B's Diner on left) and go through light at Rt. 527. Pass Primavera Pizza on the right and make the next right onto Rt. 524 West towards Clarksburg (locally named Stage Coach Rd.). Take Rt. 524 West for 4.5 miles and bear right past the Clarksburg General Store. Black Bear Lake is the first driveway on the left. On the day of the event, parking is located behind the Clarksburg Inn. Signs will be posted.

FROM THE JERSEY SHORE/RT. 195 GOING WEST:
Garden State Parkway North or South to Exit 98 for Rt. 195. Follow signs for Rt. 195 West. Follow to Exit 16 for Six Flags. At end of ramp, merge right onto Rt. 537 East. Make a left at the 2nd traffic light onto Rt. 571 Trenton-Lakewood Rd. (3 gas stations on the corners). ***Trenton-Lakewood Rd. becomes Millstone Rd. Proceed for approximately one mile to the stop sign. Make a left onto Rt. 524 West (Stage Coach Rd.). Go 1/4 of a mile and bear right past the Clarksburg General Store. Black Bear Lake is the first driveway on the left. On the day of the event, parking is located behind the Clarksburg Inn. Signs will be posted.

DIRECTIONS FOR TOUR BUSES COMING FROM NJ TURNPIKE OR PRINCETON AREA:
Take Rt. 33 East towards Freehold. Make a right at the light onto Millstone Rd. (PNC Bank on corner). Make a left at the 2nd stop sign onto Sweetmans Ln./Perrineville Rd. (mini-mall in front of you on the right). Go approximately one mile on Sweetmans Ln. Make a right onto Stillhouse Rd. Make a right at the 2nd stop sign onto Stage Coach Rd. Go approximately 3 miles. Bear right past the Clarksburg General Store. Black Bear Lake will be on the left. Go past the Country Club and follow the signs for parking behind the Clarksburg Inn.
